Evaluasi Kinerja Bundaran Pasca Beroperasinya Hotel Four Points Kubu Raya

Supadio Arterial Road, linking Pontianak with Supadio International Airport, carries high traffic and growing commercial activity, including the planned 2027 opening of Four Points Hotel near Gaforaya Roundabout. This study evaluates roundabout performance in existing 2025 conditions, post-hotel 2027 operation, and a 2030 projection, using the 2023 Indonesian Highway Capacity Guidelines (PKJI), and proposes handling alternatives if performance declines. Traffic and geometry were field-surveyed; 2027 and 2030 projections used vehicle growth factors from Samsat data. As the hotel was not yet operating, its trip generation was estimated via an analogous hotel and linear regression, yielding about 50 vehicles/hour production and 53 attraction. This added flow most heavily loads the CA weaving section, the dominant and most critical approach. In the existing condition, saturation degree was 0.565, delay 7.7 sec/pcu, queuing probability 7–17%, service level B. After 2027, performance declined to 0.721 saturation, 9.5 sec/pcu delay, 13–31% queuing probability, still level B. By 2030, saturation rises to 0.906, delay 14.4 sec/pcu, queuing probability 27–59%, level B but near its limit. As countermeasure, the CA approach was widened with a 3.5 m taper and BC entry widened 2 m, cutting peak saturation to 0.766 and delay to 11.4 sec/pcu, keeping level B.
